Help to preserve the Deutsches Museum as a scientific and technical educational institution and as a cultural asset!
Initially, 445 million euros had been budgeted for the project of the century. The federal government and the Free State have each pledged 180 million euros for the general renovation, after the museum itself had raised 45 million euros in donations. The museum is contributing a further 40 million euros from its budget. Because, among other things, the booming construction industry in recent years has driven up the cost of the modernization project, the federal government and the Free State have each increased their funding commitments by 150 million euros.
