The trains are arriving! The new model railway is due to open at the end of the first phase of our modernization project. About 25 trains will take their laps then in a 45 square meter area several times a day. Within the regular demonstrations not only the tracks but the surrounding streets and landscapes will come to life, too. Not only at “show-times” the whole installation is designed for an open view and visitors are invited anytime to delve into the world of railway and its context. Following that open concept, there will be a clearly visible “room inside the room” from where the model railway will be controlled and maintained.
